Growing in Community
Here at Mountain Community, if you did not know it yet, we want to proclaim that Christ died for our sins, that he was buried, and that he rose again. So that we can do this more effectively we feel that as we glorify God through worship we must also grow in community. Jesus Christ is most precious to us and we desire to celebrate him together.
MCF provides two avenues, in particular, for you to grow with us: grow groups and community groups. These groups will give you the opportunity to be engaged in Christian community at a much more personal setting.
GROW groups are unspecific in type but the message is the same. Each group looks to proclaim the message of the cross and help you 'grow' in your life with Christ.
These groups may be age, gender, service, or topic specific but there are groups for all. MCF deeply desires for you to grow and our church to grow in community. GROW groups will give you a second opportunity to do so. If you desire to dig deeper, learn more, or simply want to invite your friends to MCF take part in one of our many GROW groups now.
Community Groups
Community groups are geared toward taking disciples and helping them to become disciple makers. Through community groups we hope to help you strengthen and mature in your faith.
These groups will be located in, around, and throughout homes in Paintsville. We understand that the good news of Jesus Christ must go beyond the walls of our building. It must be central in our lives and in our homes. We have said before "the church has left the building." Community Groups will put this thought into practice.
