Our Lord, Jesus Christ, gave us a commission to go to the world and make disciples. That is exactly what we want to do. Because Christ was crucified, buried, and raised back to life we have and serve a living Savior. This good news, that Christ died for our sins, compels us to be on mission for him. At Mountain Community we desire to equip the followers of Jesus to take his good news everywhere we can.

We want to begin right here in Paintsville. We may do this in different ways, but our desire is to see Christ known throughout Paintsville. Also, our desire to see as many people come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as we can drives us to start more churches. MCF is looking, praying, and seeking to know where God is working so that we can begin more churches in various areas so that the gospel will reach even further.

We truly desire to take the gospel to the world! We are connected with a ministry in the island country of Haiti. There we serve with a missionary couple who are passionate about taking the gospel to the uttermost parts of the world.
